MAHA Chiropractic Hub

Advancing the Chiropractic Profession

The MAHA Chiropractic Hub is a national partnership between MAHA Center, MAHA Action, and the chiropractic profession — uniting national associations, state organizations, practitioners, educators, researchers, and patient advocates to advance federal policy, expand patient access, and build broad public support for chiropractic care across America — for children, military personnel, veterans, seniors, and all families seeking non-drug, non-surgical healthcare options.

The Moment

For the First Time in Decades

The policy environment, the cultural moment, and the legislative pathway are aligned to recognize chiropractic for what it is: an essential, evidence-informed, prevention-based component of a sustainable American healthcare system — not an “alternative service.”

With Medicare modernization legislation moving through the 119th Congress, the opportunity exists to expand Medicare and private-insurance coverage of chiropractic care and bring it into line with the full scope of what chiropractors are licensed and trained to deliver.

~70,000licensed Doctors of Chiropractic across the United States — a profession the Hub is mobilizing for the first time at national scale.

The momentum is real. The pathway is active. The infrastructure exists. Execution is the missing piece.

The Foundation

How Chiropractic Works

Chiropractic takes a whole-body view of health, anchored in three principles that have guided the profession for over a century.

The Nervous System Runs Everything

The nervous system controls every aspect of the body. When the spine and nerves function properly, the body’s self-regulating systems work the way they were designed to.

Spinal Adjustments Address Subluxations

Chiropractic care identifies and corrects subluxations — misalignments that interfere with nervous-system function — supporting the body’s natural ability to heal itself.

Treat Root Causes, Not Just Symptoms

Care focuses on the underlying drivers of pain, dysfunction, and chronic conditions rather than masking symptoms with drugs or surgery.

The Hub

What We’re Building

The MAHA Chiropractic Hub’s 2026 focus areas span both organizations — education and research through MAHA Center, and federal advocacy through MAHA Action.

MAHA Center

National PR & Education Campaign

Build public and policy support for chiropractic as an essential, evidence-informed, prevention-first component of American healthcare — reaching patients, policymakers, employers, and the public through original content, expert voices, and a coordinated media presence.

MAHA Center

Research & Evidence Infrastructure

Strengthen the research foundation behind chiropractic care — expanding outcomes data, supporting institutional research, and elevating the evidence base that informs clinical and policy decisions.

MAHA Action

Medicare & Federal Recognition

Advance the Chiropractic Medicare Coverage Modernization Act in the 119th Congress and the full implementation of Section 2706 of the Affordable Care Act — expanding access to chiropractic care for Medicare and privately insured patients.

MAHA Action

Military & Veterans

Expand chiropractic access for active-duty service members and veterans — improving readiness, reducing injury-driven early exits, and removing barriers that delay care across the DoD and VA systems.

Our four coordinated 2026 workstreams

The focus areas above translate into four coordinated workstreams MAHA Center and MAHA Action will pursue in 2026.

  1. National PR & education campaign. Build public, policy, and professional support for chiropractic as a credible, accessible, and prevention-focused modality that aligns with MAHA priorities.
  2. Medicare & federal recognition. Advance the Chiropractic Medicare Coverage Modernization Act in the 119th Congress and advocate for the full implementation of Section 2706 of the Affordable Care Act, giving Medicare and privately insured patients greater access to chiropractic care.
  3. Military integration. Engage the Defense Health Agency and Army Medical Research to embed chiropractic care across military health systems — reducing injury-driven early exits and offering a non-surgical option for musculoskeletal injuries.
  4. Veterans Administration. Engage the VA Secretary on a nationwide directive expanding chiropractic access for veterans and their dependents — cutting wait times, minimizing restrictions, and opening the Community Care Program network to more providers.

The Pathway

Federal Momentum

For the first time in decades, the policy environment and the legislative pathway are aligned. The window to act is the 119th Congress.

Through MAHA Action’s 501(c)(4) arm, the Hub is advancing the Chiropractic Medicare Coverage Modernization Act and the full implementation of Section 2706 of the Affordable Care Act — expanding access to chiropractic care for Medicare and privately insured patients across the country.

Alongside Medicare, the Hub is working with the Defense Health Agency to embed chiropractic care across military health systems, and engaging the VA to expand access for veterans and their dependents.

By the Numbers

The Case for Chiropractic

The data is clear. Chiropractic care reduces costs, cuts opioid dependence, and improves outcomes—yet remains dramatically underfunded and underutilized.

55%lower likelihood of filling an opioid prescription[1]
40%lower cost for back pain episodes starting with a chiropractor[3]
Chiropractor first1.5%
Surgeon first42.7%

Surgery rate for workers’ comp back injuries[2]
